[dropcap]I[/dropcap]lam (Coordinates:26°54′30″N 87°55′35″E) is known as the tea production area and a famous hill station situated at the Mahabharat Mountain Range in Eastern Nepal.  It is even more known for its six “A”s: Alu (Potato), Alan (Milk), Alainchi (Cardamom), Aduwa (Ginger), Amriso (Broom Grass) and Akabare khursani (Round Chillies). It is cold and freezing in the winter, mild warm in summer and fogg in the monsoon season. Many tourists come to Ilam for sight seeing of the natural beauty and tea garden.

Its been only few years that farmers are into coffee agriculture. Last year we source some 200Kgs. of Parchment and our farmers were so happy with the the returns. A good number of coffee nursery has been established and farmers are now pretty much interested to invest more on coffee.
